The gloves are designed to protect the fire-fighter’s and rescuer’s hands from heat, water, blood and mechanical damage as well as weak acids and bases solutions.
Gloves have four layers.
The outer layer of the glove is made of fire-resistant material containing 73% meta-aramid, 25% para-aramid and 2% antistatic. In the area of the finger bones, the glove has additional protection from the main fire-resistant material.
The second layer of the glove is a fire-resistant heat-insulating material based on aramid or carbon fleece.
The third layer of the glove is a PTFE film membrane material with fire-resistant properties.
Lining, fourth layer of the glove - knitted fabric from aramid.
In addition, the palm is protected by a layer of wear-resistant material made of 100% aramid fiber coated with Silikon Carbon.
Gloves for firefighters are certified in according to EN UA 659:2017 and EN UA 407:2005.
